Explanation of Volunteer Positions

-Event Setup (MON): We will setup the start/finish area for stage 1 along with our dining/awards area.

-Registration (MON & WED): Register participants and hand out race swag.

-Course Marking (MON-FRI): Marking courses will consist of riding the routes on a bicycle to mark.  Courses will be marked with plastic arrows stapled to trees.  Stages will be marked the day before the stage.  For example, Stage 1 that takes place on Tuesday will be marked on Monday.

-Course Marshal (TUE-SAT): This position will be posted around the course at road crossings/trailheads to help direct racers.  This position will mainly be done on a bike.

-Course Sweeper (TUE-SAT): Sweepers would ride their bike behind the last racers and pull all course markings as you come across them along with picking up any trash left by racers.

-Aid Stations (TUE-SAT): Help participants at an aid station by filling up water and handing out food.

-Tear Down/Cleanup (SAT PM): Once the final awards are done, we will start cleaning up the finish line and dining area.

-Put Me Where You Need Me: You don't really care what you do, you just want to help.  Let us know if you want to do positions that would be on your bike or if you'd prefer to not ride a bike.
